Company

    Aero Standard d.o.o. company (Ltd.) was founded by the end of 2005 with the aim of providing aircraft maintenance services. For two years the company was carrying out activities in order to meet the conditions for obtaining JAR 145 approval from the Croatian Civil Aviation Authorities. In that period the company participated in organising Aero GP races and in different projects which were mostly related to aerobatic airplanes registered in experimental category.
    By the end of 2007 the company obtained JAR 145 approval, and began working in the territory of the Republic of Croatia. The company gained additional advantage over the competition by using a mobile workshop as an innovation in aircraft maintenance in this region. Early in 2008 the company started maintaining aircrafts for VIP use, and that opened up new business opportunities in the challenging world of aviation. In mid-2008, after it had met the conditions from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s authorities, Aero Standard d.o.o. got into the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the company expanded its scale of business operations.    The company has signed the contracts for renting hangars on important geo-traffic locations within Croatia, where larger-scale operations can be conducted. In the last year the company has made valuable business contacts with freight forwarding companies, aircraft parts suppliers, and aircraft and equipment insurance companies. In that way the company provides a more complete service range.
    In mid-2008 the company complied with EASA Part 145 regulation, and in October it obtained Part 145 approval, HR.145.009, in the regular audit by the Croatian Civil Aviation Authorities.
